What is Compression Therapy?Compression therapy uses controlled pressure to increase blood flow in your extremities. By compressing the limbs or other body regions, the compression device squeezes the vein walls together, thereby improving overall circulation and supporting blood flow back towards the heart. In addition, it helps to reduce swelling and formation of edema by reducing the capillary leakage into the tissue and supports the lymphatic drainage of interstitial fluid. Compression provides significant relief of leg aching, pain, the feeling of swelling and heaviness, and other venous and lymphatic symptoms.

What is an Infrared Sauna?Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. Instead, they use infrared panels to warm your body directly. An infrared sauna can operate at a lower temperature (usually between 120˚F and 140˚F) than a traditional sauna, which is typically between 150˚F and 200˚F. Manufacturers claim that in an infrared sauna, only about 20 percent of the heat goes to heat the air and the other 80 percent directly heats your body. Because an infrared sauna is dry heat, breathing is much easier than in a steam sauna because the air around you is not nearly as hot and much dryer. Supporters of infrared saunas say the heat penetrates more deeply than warmed air. This allows you to experience a more intense sweat at a lower temperature.
-
What are the benefits of using an Infrared Sauna?Weight Loss: When it comes to weight loss, the real question is, “Do you burn calories in a sauna?” According to clinical studies, you can burn as much as 600 calories in one infrared sauna session. That’s roughly equivalent to jogging or swimming for an hour. Not only do you burn calories, but it boosts your metabolism as well. The body cools itself down after infrared heat makes your core temperature rise. This increases blood flow to the skin surface, so you continue shedding those pounds without much exertion from your part. Detoxification for Your Whole Body: Far infrared sauna therapy is one of the safest and most efficient detoxification methods for expelling harmful environmental toxins, insoluble chemical residues and dangerous heavy metals from the human body. Whole body detoxification is one of the cornerstones of a healthy self care routine. Pain Relief: Real, lasting relief for nerve damage, arthritis, muscle pain, carpal tunnel, joint pain and fibromyalgia. Infrared sauna heat penetrates directly to the source of your pain to heal and soothe naturally. Sufferers of Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS) often complain that they hurt all over during a flare up. That’s because FMS literally attacks the muscles, tendons, and fibrous tissues of the body. While its precise cause is not known, many medical professionals, believe that far infrared sauna use offers a promising treatment. Sauna Benefits for Stress Relief: Relax, eliminate tension and melt away the buildup of daily stress and the tension of the workday grind. Feel the glow of deep penetrating infrared heat as it soothes and heals your body naturally. Saunas can help with insomnia, too, so you sleep like a baby. Healing Power of Infrared: Reduce the healing time for damaged tissues, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerve endings, increase blood circulation and vasodilation of blood vessels. Speed beneficial nitric oxide and healing oxygen to the distressed areas, while removing toxins and lactic acid. Enhanced cell regeneration will give you more energy, stamina and mental clarity. Cardiovascular Workout: Medical studies demonstrate sauna health benefits such as lowered blood pressure, improved circulation and enhanced metabolism. An infrared sauna session is a genuine passive cardio workout – without exercise! Organic Skin Care: Dramatically renew elasticin-collagen tissues while crow’s feet, forehead lines, wrinkles, age spots, scars, varicose veins and stretch marks naturally fade away. Look younger while you cleanse your body from the inside out. Sauna Health Benefits for Immune System: Bullet Proof Your Immune System. Increased production of white blood cells and toxin removal through sweating combines to improve immunity against chronic infections, flu, sinus, allergy symptoms, germs and bacteria. Realize health benefits as the body produces special heat shock proteins, which are powerful immune system stimulators. Infrared Sauna and Cancer Therapy: Far infrared therapy has been applied as a cancer treatment worldwide for 20 years. Infrared saunas increase the production of white blood cells, killer T-cells, and interferon, all of which have been shown to fight cancer cell growth.

What is PEMF Therapy?Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF) therapy uses technology to stimulate and exercise cells to help resolve cellular dysfunction and to support overall wellness. PEMF therapy is a safe and non-invasive way to reduce pain and inflammation. It can be used to supplement and enhance existing healthcare modalities. The PEMF apparatus includes various devices including full-body mats, localized pad applicators, and pinpointed probe or “spot” applicators. PEMF can be compared to a whole-body battery recharger. PEMF works by “improving adenosine triphosphate [ATP] production, increasing oxygenation, enhancing circulation, promoting hydration, facilitating detoxification,” and gaining a better overall absorption of nutrients.
-
What are the benefits of PEMF Therapy? The health benefits of PEMF therapy include: Improves cellular health, communication, and function Promotes quick recovery Reduces pain, inflammation, and swelling Boosts immunity Fixes hormonal imbalances Promotes quicker healing and recovery Increases metabolism and oxygenation Removes cellular wastes effectively Restores damaged tissues Increases nutritional absorption Improves bone structure, density, and functions Heals wounds and fractures Maintains a proper balance between antioxidants and free radicals Regenerates brain function Enables one to better manage stress, sleep disorders, and mood fluctuations
-
Why is PEMF Therapy good for you?Our bodies are composed of trillions of cells. The membranes of healthy cells have positive and negative magnetic charges. These charges are required to exchange ions carrying chemical elements our bodies need to function, like calcium and potassium. Over time our cells deteriorate or get injured, and when that happens they lose their magnetic charges - and with them, the ability to exchange ions. Symptoms like inflammation, fatigue, and pain are caused by damaged cells with low charges. PEMF technology targets the affected area and restores cells’ healthy electromagnetic charges. Therefore, using PEMF technology on a regular basis can reduce pain and inflammation and increase energy.
-
Who can use PEMF Therapy? Is it safe?Almost anyone can use PEMF safely and without negative side effects. The only contraindications are for those individuals with pacemakers, insulin pumps, or other electrical implants. PEMF is also not recommended for anyone who is or thinks they might be pregnant or for people who have had organ transplants and are on immunosuppressive drugs because of the positive effects that PEMF has on our immune systems. If you suffer from pain, have pain from a recent injury, or if you’re in search of joint pain relief, PEMF therapy may be able to help. PEMF therapy is a non-drug form of pain relief, and even better, it has no negative side effects other than a possible detox effect for clients with excess toxins in their bodies.
-
What is the difference between low intensity and high intensity PEMF Therapy? We offer two different full-body PEMF treatments. Our low intensity advanced therapy mat offers 5 pain relieving technologies into one amazing product including pulsed electromagnetic therapy, far infrared heat, negative ions, photon lights, and heated healing crystals. It is low intensity, meaning the energy emitted from the mat cannot be felt and does not cause any muscle twitching. Our high intensity full-body mat is much more powerful and the energy emitted from this device can be felt in your tissues. It may cause some muscle twitching as it zeros in on inflammation, pain, and other areas of resistance in need of repair in the body. This is not painful, but can be somewhat uncomfortable if the intensity is too high for the area of concern. We work closely with the client to find the right level of intensity to rapidly address pain or injury areas, but within a level that is safe and comfortable. Both low intensity and high intensity PEMF treatments are doing exactly the same thing, but low intensity just takes longer to realize positive results. As a comparison analogy, if your goal was to get wet in the rain, low intensity would be like standing out in the mist, while high intensity is standing in a downpour. Both get you wet, but one is much faster and with a greater volume of water.

What is Red Light Therapy (RLT)?Red light therapy, also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation (PBM), is a non-invasive treatment that uses red or near-infrared light to stimulate cellular function and promote healing. Red light therapy uses a low-powered red light to deliver wavelengths directly through the skin. The light is then absorbed by the cells, where it gives the mitochondria a boost and triggers the increased production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This increase in ATP creates higher functioning cells that stimulate the body’s natural processes, resulting in benefits such as decreased inflammation, increases in blood flow, increases in collagen production, reduced effects of oxidative stress, and an increased ability to repair and restore damaged cells and tissue. When you use a red light therapy device, you are increasing your body’s ability to create and store energy. This energy is believed to aid cellular repair and health. This results in healthier skin cells, providing a more aesthetically pleasing and youthful appearance. The therapy also results in improved blood circulation. This causes an increased supply of oxygen and nutrients to the target cells, boosting cell regeneration as well.
-
What are the benefits from using RLT?Skin rejuvenation and reducing wrinkles: The 660nm is absorbed at a higher proportion by the skin tissue, making it especially effective for boosting skin health and increasing collagen Hair loss treatment: The 660nm has a major stimulating effect on the dermal papilla cells, which play a big role in the regulation of hair cycling and growth Reduced inflammation and swelling: In a study, the 660nm wavelength was found to reduce both inflammation and swelling by reducing the number of inflammatory cells which lead to the formation of swelling. Accelerated wound healing, diminishes scars and burns: The 660nm wavelength has been proven to increase the formation of new blood vessels and enhance collagen deposition to help in the healing of wounds. Reduced training fatigue: Nature red and infrared light helps promote antioxidants, which play a central role in reducing the oxidative stress associated with muscle fatigue. Pain relief, including relief from nerve and muscle pain and arthritis: Red and near-infrared light has a significant effect on reducing joint pain and increasing function and activity for people with arthritis.
-
Is RLT safe?Yes, red light therapy is generally considered safe when used as directed. It has been studied extensively, and there is no evidence to suggest that it poses significant risks when applied correctly. Red light therapy has no or very minimal side effects. Some users may experience mild and temporary effects like temporary discomfort, eye strain, or headache, but these are rare and usually short-lived.
-
Can RLT cause burns or damage to the skin? No, red light therapy does not produce heat that can cause burns. When used appropriately, it does not damage the skin. Only positive effects happen when exposing the body to red light therapy.
-
How often and for how long can red light therapy be used? While red light therapy is safe enough to use every day, the frequency and duration of red light therapy sessions depend on the specific device and the condition being treated. Our full-body red light therapy bed has a maximum session time of 20 minutes. We can work together to determine what schedule of treatment is best for you and what you are trying to resolve.
